The label was founded by [Ola Håkansson](/source/Ola_H%C3%A5kansson) in 2003.[1][2][3] ## History The company was founded by [Swedish](/source/Swedes) singer, composer and producer, [Ola Håkansson](/source/Ola_H%C3%A5kansson) in 2003, in [Stockholm](/source/Stockholm), [Sweden](/source/Sweden). Håkansson originally founded [Stockholm Records](/source/Stockholm_Records) in 1992 with [Alexander Bard](/source/Alexander_Bard) as a joint venture with distributor, [PolyGram](/source/PolyGram). In 1998, Håkansson and Bard sold their shares in Stockholm Records to [Universal Music Group](/source/Universal_Music_Group), who had purchased Stockholm's distributor, [PolyGram](/source/PolyGram) in 1995.[4][1] In 2003, the company was founded as a [publishing](/source/Music_publisher_(popular_music)) and [production](/source/Record_producer) company which employed ex-Stockholm Records' songwriters and producers.
