The Blue Line has service from the [Salt Lake Intermodal Hub](/source/Salt_Lake_Intermodal_Hub) in Downtown Salt Lake City to [Draper](/source/Draper%2C_Utah). The Green Line provides service from the [Salt Lake City International Airport](/source/Salt_Lake_City_International_Airport) to [West Valley City](/source/West_Valley_City%2C_Utah) (via Downtown Salt Lake City).

== Description ==
The station is located at 150 West South Temple, with the [island platform](/source/island_platform) in the median of the street. It is situated immediately north of the [Salt Palace](/source/Salt_Palace) Convention Center and [Abravanel Hall](/source/Abravanel_Hall), just southwest of [Temple Square](/source/Temple_Square), and just northwest of the new [City Creek Center](/source/City_Creek_Center) development. The station was opened on December 4, 1999, and was part of the first operating segment of the TRAX system.<ref name="dn-opening date" /> The station was closed during the 2002 Winter Olympics as it was within the Olympic Square. It is operated by the Utah Transit Authority. The station is included in the [Free Fare Zone](/source/Zero-fare_public_transport) in Downtown Salt Lake City. Transportation patrons that both enter ''and'' exit bus or TRAX service within the Zone can ride at no charge.<ref name="FFZ" /> Unlike many TRAX stations, Arena does not have a [Park and Ride](/source/Utah_Transit_Authority) lot.<ref name="Parking" />

These ramps are not used on weekends or on the Green Line.
