# Tejupilco Region

**Region X** (Spanish: Región X. Tejupilco) is a Mexican [intrastate region](/source/Intrastate_region) within the [State of Mexico](/source/State_of_Mexico), one of 16. It borders the [states](/source/List_of_states_of_Mexico) of [Guerrero](/source/Guerrero) and [Michoacán](/source/Michoac%C3%A1n) in the southwest corner of the state. The region comprises four municipalities: [Amatepec](/source/Amatepec), [Luvianos](/source/Luvianos), [Tejupilco](/source/Tejupilco_Municipality), [Tlatlaya](/source/Tlatlaya).[1] It is largely rural.
