**Tedashii Lavoy Anderson** (born March 8, 1977), known simply as **Tedashii**, is an American [Christian hip hop](/source/Christian_hip_hop) artist and member of the hip-hop troupe [116](/source/116_(hip-hop_group)) (formerly known as 116 Clique). He also hosted the [NGEN Radio](/source/NGEN_Radio) show "Serium". Tedashii has released five solo albums, *[Kingdom People](/source/Kingdom_People)*, *[Identity Crisis](/source/Identity_Crisis_(Tedashii_album))*, *[Blacklight](/source/Blacklight_(Tedashii_album))*, *[Below Paradise](/source/Below_Paradise)*, and *Never Fold*, on [Reach Records](/source/Reach_Records). Tedashii's delivery style is characterized by a deep voice that he can manipulate for rapping a wide range of flow schemes and patterns.

In 2015, Tedashii appeared on the song "I Have a Dream" for Manafest's album *[Reborn](/source/Reborn_(Manafest_album))*. In 2021, Tedashii appeared on the song "Donde están (Watcho 6)" for the 116 album [*Sin Vergüenza*](/source/Sin_Verg%C3%BCenza_(116_album)).[6]

In 2022, Tedashii sustained injuries during Unashamed's final concert.[7]

## Personal life

Tedashii Lavoy Anderson was born in [Lufkin, Texas](/source/Lufkin%2C_Texas), on March 8, 1977, to mother Vera Louise Anderson.[8][9]

Tedashii currently lives with his wife in [Denton, Texas](/source/Denton%2C_Texas), serving at The Village Church.[9] In March 2013, Tedashii's one-year-old son died. He recorded much of his spiritual struggle during that time and based his fourth studio album, *[Below Paradise](/source/Below_Paradise)*, on his experiences.[10][11]
