'''Edward John Warren''' is an Australian former politician. He was the [Labor](/source/Australian_Labor_Party_(Northern_Territory_Branch)) member for [Goyder](/source/Electoral_division_of_Goyder) in the [Northern Territory Legislative Assembly](/source/Northern_Territory_Legislative_Assembly) from 2005 to 2008.

Warren was a [geotechnical](/source/geotechnical) and [geological engineering](/source/geological_engineering) consultant before his entry into politics, working in both the [Northern Territory](/source/Northern_Territory) and [Papua New Guinea](/source/Papua_New_Guinea). His first foray into politics was an unsuccessful run for the seat of [Jingili](/source/Electoral_division_of_Jingili) in 1984. Warren was elected as part of Labor's [2005 landslide win](/source/2005_Northern_Territory_general_election) after [Country Liberal](/source/Country_Liberal_Party) incumbent [Peter Maley](/source/Peter_Maley) was disendorsed just a month before the election.  However, a redistribution ahead of the [2008 election](/source/2008_Northern_Territory_general_election) erased Warren's majority and made Goyder a notional CLP seat.
