Tebu Community was founded by the [Ijebu people](/source/Ijebu_people) who migrated to the area around the 11th century. It is located along the creek of Olero, Benin River in [Warri North](/source/Warri_North) Local Government Area of present-day [Delta State](/source/Delta_State).
