**Tarek Mostafa** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): طارق مصطفى; born 1 April 1971) is an Egyptian [football](/source/Association_football) manager and a retired player.

## Career

Mostafa started his career in Division II club Eastern Tobacco, notably played for [Zamalek SC](/source/Zamalek_SC) for a period of four successful years. He also had a spell with [Ankaragücü](/source/Ankarag%C3%BCc%C3%BC) in the Turkish [Super Lig](/source/Super_Lig).[3] He played for [El Gouna FC](/source/El_Gouna_FC) in Egypt from 2007 to 2009, then he retired.

Mostafa has played for the [Egypt national team](/source/Egypt_national_football_team), participating in the [1998 African Cup of Nations](/source/1998_African_Cup_of_Nations) and scoring one of the two winning goals in the [final](/source/1998_African_Cup_of_Nations_Final).
