Chahed was born in Berlin and began playing football at [Hertha Zehlendorf](/source/Hertha_Zehlendorf) when he was six years old. He later moved on to [Berliner SC](/source/Berliner_SC), before joining [1. FC Magdeburg](/source/1._FC_Magdeburg) in 2013.
