**Tardes** (taʁd; Occitan: *Tardas*) is a [commune](/source/Communes_of_France) in the [Creuse](/source/Creuse) [department](/source/Departments_of_France) in the [Nouvelle-Aquitaine](/source/Nouvelle-Aquitaine) [region](/source/Regions_of_France) in central [France](/source/France).

## Geography

A [farming](/source/Farming) area comprising several small villages and hamlets situated by the banks of the river [Tardes](/source/Tardes_River), some 16 miles (26 km) north of [Aubusson](/source/Aubusson,_Creuse), between the D993 and the D41.
