# Tan Chen Choon

**Tan Chen Choon** is a [Malaysian](/source/Malaysian_people) [politician](/source/Politician) who served as Member of the [Johor State Executive Council](/source/Johor_State_Executive_Council) (EXCO) in the [Pakatan Harapan](/source/Pakatan_Harapan) (PH) state administration under former Menteri Besar [Sahruddin Jamal](/source/Sahruddin_Jamal) from April 2019 to the collapse of the PH state administration in February 2020 and Member of the [Johor State Legislative Assembly](/source/Johor_State_Legislative_Assembly) (MLA) for [Jementah](/source/Jementah_(state_constituency)) from May 2013 to March 2022. He is also the husband of former [Member of Parliament](/source/Member_of_Parliament) (MP) for [Batu Gajah](/source/Batu_Gajah_(federal_constituency)) [Fong Po Kuan](/source/Fong_Po_Kuan). He is a member of the [Democratic Action Party](/source/Democratic_Action_Party) (DAP), a component party of the [Pakatan Harapan](/source/Pakatan_Harapan) (PH) opposition coalition.
