# Talna

The **Talna** is a left [tributary](/source/Tributary) of the river [Tur](/source/Tur_(river)) in [Romania](/source/Romania). It discharges into the Tur in [Gherța Mică](/source/Gher%C8%9Ba_Mic%C4%83). Its length is 38 km (24 mi) and its basin size is 176 km2 (68 sq mi). The upper reach of the river, upstream of the junction with the [Talna Mică](/source/Talna_Mic%C4%83), is sometimes considered to be a [headwater](/source/Headwater) of the river and is referred to as **Talna Mare**.
