'''''Sycosaurus''''' is an extinct [genus](/source/genus) of [rubidgeine](/source/Rubidgeinae) [gorgonopsia](/source/gorgonopsia)ns from the [Wuchiapingian](/source/Wuchiapingian) (Upper [Permian](/source/Permian)) Cistecephalus zone of [South Africa](/source/South_Africa).
