'''Swill Brook''' is the name of a number of streams in England, the most notable of which is the '''Swill Brook''' in [Wiltshire](/source/Wiltshire). This stream flows for some 10 km or 6 miles in a generally easterly direction from its sources near the village of [Crudwell](/source/Crudwell) to its confluence with the [River Thames](/source/River_Thames) near [Ashton Keynes](/source/Ashton_Keynes). Its chief claim to fame is that the Thames is actually a tributary of the Swill Brook, as the latter is considerably larger than the Thames where they meet.<ref>{{cite web |url=http://nora.nerc.ac.uk/15409/1/N015409CR.pdf |title=Sandpool Farm Flood Study (Table 4.1)|publisher=Institute of Hydrology, for Natural Environment Research Council|accessdate=6 February 2017}}</ref>
