**Sweetheart Video** is a Canadian [pornographic film](/source/Pornographic_film) [studio](/source/Film_studio) based in [Montreal, Quebec](/source/Montreal).[2] The studio was founded by Jonathan Blitt and [pornographic actress](/source/Pornographic_film_actor) [Nica Noelle](/source/Nica_Noelle) in 2008,[1] and it specializes in [lesbian](/source/Lesbian)-themed films. Noelle initially wrote and [directed](/source/Film_director) all the films,[1] but she left the studio in 2011.[4] Subsequent films were initially written and directed by other people in the adult industry, including Melissa Monet, [Dana Vespoli](/source/Dana_Vespoli), and [James Avalon](/source/James_Avalon);[5] Vespoli now exclusively writes and directs all the films.[6][7][8]
