'''Swe-Danes''' was a [Danish](/source/Denmark)-[Swedish](/source/Sweden) [jazz](/source/jazz) and entertainment trio (music, comedy, dance) consisting of [Svend Asmussen](/source/Svend_Asmussen) (violin), [Ulrik Neumann](/source/Ulrik_Neumann) (guitar and occasionally vocals) and [Alice Babs](/source/Alice_Babs) (singing).

Swe-Danes participated in the [revue](/source/revue) "Evergreens" in [Stockholm](/source/Stockholm) and raised international attention. In 1958-1961 they showed up in the big scenes in Scandinavia, England and Germany as well as in the United States, among other at [Coconut Grove](/source/Ambassador_Hotel_(Los_Angeles)) in [Los Angeles](/source/Los_Angeles). In 1961 they appeared on ''[The Dinah Shore Chevy Show](/source/The_Dinah_Shore_Chevy_Show)'' hosted by [Dinah Shore](/source/Dinah_Shore).
