The **Swannell Ranges** are a [mountain range](/source/Mountain_range) between the [Finlay](/source/Finlay_River) and [Nation Rivers](/source/Nation_River_(British_Columbia)) and between the [Hogem Ranges](/source/Hogem_Ranges) and the [Finlay Ranges](/source/Finlay_Ranges) of northern [British Columbia](/source/British_Columbia), [Canada](/source/Canada). It has an area of 22932 km2 and is a subrange of the [Omineca Mountains](/source/Omineca_Mountains) which in turn form part of the [Interior Mountains](/source/Interior_Mountains).[1] They are named in honour of legendary surveyor/explorer [Frank Swannell](/source/Frank_Swannell).
