Motorcycle model introduced in 2013

Recursion

The **Suzuki Recursion** is a [turbocharged](/source/Turbocharger) [concept motorcycle](/source/Concept_motorcycle) shown by [Suzuki](/source/Suzuki) at the 2013 [Tokyo Auto Show](/source/Tokyo_Auto_Show). The engine is a 588 cc [parallel-twin](/source/Straight-twin_engine) with [intercooled turbo](/source/Intercooler) and [traction control system](/source/Traction_control_system).[1][2] [Kevin Cameron](/source/Kevin_Cameron_(journalist)) described its power delivery in *[Cycle World](/source/Cycle_World)* as "the torque of a [liter-bike](/source/Literbike), given across a three-times-wider band and packaged into a light middleweight",[3] and [Gizmag](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Gizmag&action=edit&redlink=1)'s Mike Hanlon compared it to a [Buell](/source/Buell_Motorcycle_Company) V-twin.[2]

Visordown.com said the intercooler was positioned under the [saddle](/source/Motorcycle_saddle).[4] It is unclear if this would be carried forward in a production motorcycle; other production models with under-tail exhausts and radiators ([Benelli Tornado](/source/Benelli_Tornado_Tre_900)) have been criticized for un-ergonomic heat management.[notes 1][notes 2][notes 3]

1. **[^](#cite_ref-10)** LeSanto 2002: "[R]iding slowly up and down the main street for photos put stacks of heat into the engine, the clutch and because of that under-seat radiator the rider! The water temp hit maximum, the clutch got grabby and I sweated off several pounds. Benelli put the radiator under the seat to allow for a streamlined front end for the machine and to optimise weight distribution, but it had a difficult time keeping the temperatures in check..."[7]
