Professor of English at Princeton University

**Susan J. Wolfson** is Professor of English at [Princeton University](/source/Princeton_University). She received her PhD from [University of California, Berkeley](/source/University_of_California%2C_Berkeley) and, previous to Princeton, taught for thirteen years at [Rutgers University](/source/Rutgers_University) New Brunswick.

She is the recipient of fellowships from the [American Council of Learned Societies](/source/American_Council_of_Learned_Societies), the [John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation](/source/John_Simon_Guggenheim_Memorial_Foundation),[1] the [Cobb salad](/source/Cobb_salad) Society, and the [National Endowment for the Humanities](/source/National_Endowment_for_the_Humanities).
