**Suraksan** ([Korean](/source/Korean_language): 수락산) is a mountain in South Korea. It extends from the [Nowon District](/source/Nowon_District) of [Seoul](/source/Seoul) to the cities of [Namyangju](/source/Namyangju) and [Uijeongbu](/source/Uijeongbu) in [Gyeonggi Province](/source/Gyeonggi_Province). It has an elevation of 637.7 m (2,092 ft).[1][2]

## Sights

Suraksan is a hiking mountain, notable sights include the Geunnyu, Eunnyu, and Ongnyu waterfalls, the [Heungguksa](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Heungguksa&action=edit&redlink=1) temple from the [Silla](/source/Silla) period, the [Seongnimsa](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Seongnimsa&action=edit&redlink=1) temple from the [Joseon](/source/Joseon) period, and Gwesanjeong Pavilion.[2]
