**Sunndalsfjorden**[1] (sometimes *Sunndalsfjord* in English) is a [fjord](/source/Fjord) in [Sunndal Municipality](/source/Sunndal_Municipality) in [Møre og Romsdal](/source/M%C3%B8re_og_Romsdal) county, [Norway](/source/Norway). The 17-kilometre (11 mi) long Sunndalsfjorden comprises the southern end of the main [Tingvollfjorden](/source/Tingvollfjorden_(M%C3%B8re_og_Romsdal)). It begins at the Ballsneset peninsula, at the municipal boundary of Sunndal and extends south to the village of [Sunndalsøra](/source/Sunndals%C3%B8ra). Other villages along the fjord include [Jordalsgrenda](/source/Jordalsgrenda) and [Øksendalsøra](/source/%C3%98ksendals%C3%B8ra). The main inflow of the fjord is the river [Driva](/source/Driva) which flows into the fjord at Sunndalsøra. [Norwegian National Road 70](/source/Norwegian_National_Road_70) runs along the northeastern part of the fjord near Sunndalsøra.[2]
