For the old highway **H12**, see [Ratna Highway](/source/Ratna_Highway).

**NH12** or **Sunkoshi Corridor** (Nepali: [सुनकोशी करिडोर](https://ne.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E0%A4%B8%E0%A5%81%E0%A4%A8%E0%A4%95%E0%A5%8B%E0%A4%B6%E0%A5%80_%E0%A4%95%E0%A4%B0%E0%A4%BF%E0%A4%A1%E0%A5%8B%E0%A4%B0)) or **Ghurmi-Regmitar-Barkhadada road** is a National Highway that runs through the Hills of [Udayapur District](/source/Udayapur_District), [Bhojpur District](/source/Bhojpur_District,_Nepal) and [Khotang District](/source/Khotang_District) of [Koshi Province](/source/Koshi_Province), Nepal. It is currently under construction. The total length of the highway is calculated to be 163 kilometres (101 mi).[1][2]

The highway starts at Ghurmi (Udayapur) being separated from [NH03](/source/National_Highway_03_(Nepal)) and runs parallel to the [Sunkoshi River](/source/Sunkoshi_River) until [Thanagaun](/source/Thanagaun) ([Tapli Rural Municipality](/source/Tapli_Rural_Municipality)) before it crosses the Sunkoshi river and enters into [Khotang District](/source/Khotang_District). It then runs parallel to the Sunkoshi River again until it reaches Regmitar. The highway then crosses [NH16](/source/National_Highway_16_(Nepal)) at Regmitar ([Rajapani](/source/Rajapani)). The highway continues on to [Damarkhu](/source/Damarkhu_Shivalaya) where it crosses the border of Khotang District and enters into [Bhojpur District](/source/Bhojpur_District,_Nepal). This section of road runs in the [Aamchowk Rural Municipality](/source/Aamchowk_Rural_Municipality) of Bhojpur District before it crosses the [Sunkoshi River](/source/Sunkoshi_River) again and enters into [Udayapur District](/source/Udayapur_District) again at Ranitar of the [Chaudandigadhi Municipality](/source/Chaudandigadhi_Municipality) then moves east and enters to [Belaka Municipality](/source/Belaka_Municipality). It finally merges with [NH03](/source/National_Highway_03_(Nepal)) at Barkhadanda near Chatara Koshi bridge.
