# Sunil Oasis

**Sunil Chandrasekharan Oasis** (born 3 April 1973 in [Kozhikode](/source/Kozhikode), Kerala, India) is a retired Indian [first class cricketer](/source/First_class_cricket). He was a right-handed middle order [batsman](/source/Batsman) and a right arm medium [bowler](/source/Bowler_(cricket)).[1] He was captain of the [Kerala cricket team](/source/Kerala_cricket_team). He also represented India at the [Hong Kong Cricket Sixes](/source/Hong_Kong_Cricket_Sixes) in 2008. Currently he is the [coach](/source/Coach_(sport)) of Thrissur Titans.
