She won Young and Modern (''[YM](/source/YM_(magazine))'') magazine's cover girl contest in 1995 plus she was on the cover of YM's November issue that year and subsequently signed with [Elite modeling agency](/source/Elite_Model_Management)<ref name="askmen" /> before appearing on the cover of ''[GQ](/source/GQ)'' as well as [men's magazines](/source/men's_magazines) ''[Maxim](/source/Maxim_(magazine))'' and ''[Max](/source/Max_(German_magazine))''.  She was ranked number 100 in ''[Stuff](/source/Stuff_(magazine))'' magazine's "102 Sexiest Women In The World" in 2002.

Altice was ''[Playboy's](/source/Playboy)'' [Playmate](/source/Playboy_Playmate) of the Month for August 2000.
