**Sulwhasoo** ([Korean](/source/Korean_language): 설화수; [Hanja](/source/Hanja): 雪花秀) is a South Korean [skincare](/source/Skincare) and [cosmetics](/source/Cosmetics) brand launched by [Amorepacific Corporation](/source/Amorepacific_Corporation) in 1997. Seolhwa ([Hanja](/source/Hanja): 雪花) means a [plum blossom](/source/Plum_blossom) that blooms in the [snow](/source/Snow). It is a brand that uses Korean traditional herbal ingredients as its main components and releases products that combine them with modern skincare science.[1]
