Pepper was contracted for a one-year development deal with [Sony](/source/Sony)/[Columbia Tri-Star Television](/source/Columbia_Tri-Star_Television) beginning in 2002.<ref name=thr/> While with Sony/Columbia TriStar, Pepper wrote and produced on the television shows ''[Pyramid](/source/Pyramid_(game_show))'', ''[Shipmates](/source/Shipmates_(TV_series))'' and ''[The Rerun Show](/source/The_Rerun_Show)''.<ref name=thr/>
