**Suhorje** (pronounced [\[suˈxoːɾjɛ\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/Slovene)) is a [village](/source/Village) in the hills southwest of [Pivka](/source/Pivka) in the [Inner Carniola](/source/Inner_Carniola) region of [Slovenia](/source/Slovenia).[2]

The local [parish church](/source/Parish_church), built outside the [settlement](/source/Human_settlement) to the south, is dedicated to [Saint Nicholas](/source/Saint_Nicholas) ([Slovene](/source/Slovene_language): *sveti Miklavž*) and belongs to the [Koper Diocese](/source/Roman_Catholic_Diocese_of_Koper).[3]
