# Stuart Willmott

**Stuart Willmott** (born 4 June 1964) is a male retired British swimmer.

## Swimming career

He competed in the 1500 metres freestyle and 400 metres medley events at the [1984 Summer Olympics](/source/1984_Summer_Olympics), but did not reach the finals.[1] At the [ASA National British Championships](/source/British_Swimming_Championships) he won the [200 metres medley](/source/British_Swimming_Championships_-_200_metres_medley_winners) title in 1985 [2]

## Personal life

He is married to Alison and has two daughters, Chloe [3] and [Aimee](/source/Aimee_Willmott); both are competitive swimmers, and Aimee has competed at the [2012 Summer Olympics](/source/2012_Summer_Olympics).[4] He works as a swimming coach at the Middlesbrough Amateur Swimming Club.[5][6] His daughters train at the same club, but with different coaches.[7]
