**Stuart Bay** is an Arctic waterway in the [Qikiqtaaluk Region](/source/Qikiqtaaluk_Region), [Nunavut](/source/Nunavut), Canada. Located off northwestern [Bathurst Island](/source/Bathurst_Island_(Nunavut)), the bay is on the east side of [May Inlet](/source/May_Inlet).

Other bays in the area include [Purcell Bay](/source/Purcell_Bay), [Dampier Bay](/source/Dampier_Bay), and [Half Moon Bay](/source/Half_Moon_Bay_(Nunavut)).[2]

## Geology

The Stuart Bay Formation is characterized by [limestone](/source/Limestone) and interbedded [sandstone](/source/Sandstone).[3]
