==Career==
Barfoot, a full-back, began his career as an apprentice with [AFC Bournemouth](/source/AFC_Bournemouth), turning professional in July 1994. He made just two league appearances (both as a substitute the following season, one coming against [Chelsea](/source/Chelsea_F.C.) in the [League Cup](/source/Football_League_Cup) in September 1994 when he replaced [Sean O'Driscoll](/source/Sean_O'Driscoll)) before joining [Torquay United](/source/Torquay_United_F.C.).

He failed to break into the first team at [Plainmoor](/source/Plainmoor), leaving league football.

In the 1997–98 season he was playing for [Bashley](/source/Bashley_F.C.), moving to [Andover](/source/Andover_F.C.) in 1999.
