'''Strai''' is a village and a district in the municipality of [Kristiansand](/source/Kristiansand) in [Agder](/source/Agder), [Norway](/source/Norway). It is located in the borough of [Grim](/source/Grim_(Kristiansand)). Its population (2014) is about 1,000. The district of [Mosby](/source/Mosby%2C_Norway) lies to the north, the districts of [Lund](/source/Lund_(Kristiansand)), [Kvadraturen](/source/Kvadraturen_(Kristiansand)), and Grim are located to the south, and the [Songdalen](/source/Songdalen) area lies to the west.

The village of Strai lies on the west shore of the river [Otra](/source/Otra) in the [Torridal](/source/Torridal) valley. The village of [Mosby](/source/Mosby%2C_Norway) lies just to the north along the [Norwegian National Road 9](/source/Norwegian_National_Road_9). [Torridal Church](/source/Torridal_Church) is located just on the northern edge of Strai.
