The **Stour Valley Path** is a 96-kilometre (60-mile) long-distance [footpath](/source/Trail) in [Suffolk](/source/Suffolk), [England](/source/England), connecting [Newmarket](/source/Newmarket,_Suffolk) ([52.2407°N 0.3976°E](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?params=52.2407_0.3976&title=Stour%20Valley%20Path%20(Newmarket%20trailhead))) with [Cattawade](/source/Cattawade_Marshes) ([51.957°N 1.0563°E](https://geohack.toolforge.org/geohack.php?params=51.9570_1.0563&title=Stour%20Valley%20Path%20(Cattawade%20trailhead))), a [nature reserve](/source/Nature_reserve) near [Manningtree](/source/Manningtree).[1]

The path follows the [catchment area](/source/Drainage_basin) of the [River Stour](/source/River_Stour,_Suffolk). The majority of the route forms part of [European Path E2](/source/European_walking_route_E2). It connects with the [Icknield Way Path](/source/Icknield_Way_Path), St Edmund Way, the [Stour and Orwell Walk](/source/Stour_and_Orwell_Walk) and the [Essex Way](/source/Essex_Way).
