# Stora Valla

**Stora Valla** is a multi-use [stadium](/source/Stadium) in [Degerfors](/source/Degerfors), [Sweden](/source/Sweden). It is currently used mostly for [football](/source/Association_football) matches and hosts the home matches of [Degerfors IF](/source/Degerfors_IF). The stadium holds 12,500 people and opened in 1938.[1] The record attendance is 21,065 spectators, when Degerfors IF played [IFK Norrköping](/source/IFK_Norrk%C3%B6ping), 1963.[1]
