***Stomping Ground*** is the third studio album by American [punk rock](/source/Punk_rock) band [Goldfinger](/source/Goldfinger_(band)), released on March 28, 2000. It was produced by [Tim Palmer](/source/Tim_Palmer_(record_producer)) and [John Feldmann](/source/John_Feldmann) and mixed by Tim Palmer. The song "The End of the Day" contains a brief sample from the [Dead Kennedys](/source/Dead_Kennedys) song "[Nazi Punks Fuck Off](/source/Nazi_Punks_Fuck_Off)".

## Release

*Stomping Ground* was released in March 2000. In May 2000, the band went on tour with [Ignite](/source/Ignite_(band)).[4] In March 2001, the band embarked on a tour of Europe.[5] In July and August 2001, the band went a co-headlining tour of the US with [Reel Big Fish](/source/Reel_Big_Fish) dubbed The Crouching Fish, Hidden Finger Tour, with support from [Zebrahead](/source/Zebrahead), [Home Grown](/source/Home_Grown), [Mest](/source/Mest), [the Movielife](/source/The_Movielife) and [Rx Bandits](/source/Rx_Bandits).[6] A second leg of this trek occurred in September and October 2001, with support from Mest, the Movielife, and [Sugarcult](/source/Sugarcult).[7]
