# Stigmella varii

***Stigmella varii*** is a [moth](/source/Moth) of the family [Nepticulidae](/source/Nepticulidae). It was described by Scoble in 1978. It is found in [South Africa](/source/South_Africa) (it was described from the Brits District Hartebeespoortdam in Transvaal).[1]

The larvae feed on *[Croton gratissimus](/source/Croton_gratissimus)*. They probably [mine](/source/Leaf_miner) the leaves of their host plant.
