***Stigmella rubeta*** is a [moth](/source/Moth) of the family [Nepticulidae](/source/Nepticulidae). It is found in tropical [montane forest](/source/Montane_forest) of the western slopes of the [Andes](/source/Andes) in [Ecuador](/source/Ecuador).

## Description

The [wingspan](/source/Wingspan) is about 4.5 mm. Adults have been found from February to early March.

The larvae feed on *[Rubus](/source/Rubus)* species. They [mine](/source/Leaf_miner) the leaves of their host plant.
