***Stigmella muricatella*** is a [moth](/source/Moth) of the family [Nepticulidae](/source/Nepticulidae). It is found in [Greece](/source/Greece) and [Turkey](/source/Turkey), the [Near East](/source/Near_East), and east to the eastern part of the [Palearctic realm](/source/Palearctic_realm).

The larvae feed on *[Sanguisorba minor](/source/Sanguisorba_minor) muricata*. They [mine the leaves](/source/Mine_the_leaves) of their host plant.
