***Stigmella generalis*** is a [moth](/source/Moth) of the family [Nepticulidae](/source/Nepticulidae). It was described by Scoble in 1978. It is found in [South Africa](/source/South_Africa) (it was described from the [Cape Province](/source/Cape_Province)).[1]

The larvae feed on *[Rhus](/source/Rhus)* species. They probably [mine](/source/Leaf_miner) the leaves of their host plant.
