# Stigmatomma pluto

***Stigmatomma pluto*** is a [species](/source/Species) of [ant](/source/Ant) in the [subfamily](/source/Subfamily) [Amblyoponinae](/source/Amblyoponinae). The species was first described as ***Amblyopone pluto*** by [Gotwald](/source/William_H._Gotwald,_Jr.) and Levieux in 1972[1] and moved to the genus *[Stigmatomma](/source/Stigmatomma)* in 2012.[2]

*Stigmatomma pluto* is [endemic](/source/Endemism) to the unburned [savannas](/source/Savanna) of central [Ivory Coast](/source/Ivory_Coast).[1]
