**Stevenson** is an [unincorporated community](/source/Unincorporated_area) located in the [Green Spring Valley](/source/Green_Spring_Valley) in [Baltimore County](/source/Baltimore_County,_Maryland), [Maryland](/source/Maryland), United States. From 1830 until 1955, this community was served by the Green Spring Valley Branch of the old [Northern Central Railway](/source/Northern_Central_Railway) (later part of the [Pennsylvania Railroad](/source/Pennsylvania_Railroad)).

Primarily a residential area, it is the site of the main campus of [Stevenson University](/source/Stevenson_University) (formerly Villa Julie College), which also has a campus in [Owings Mills](/source/Owings_Mills,_Maryland). It is also home to [St. Timothy's School](/source/St._Timothy's_School), an all-girls boarding and day high school. [Fort Garrison](/source/Fort_Garrison) was listed on the [National Register of Historic Places](/source/National_Register_of_Historic_Places) in 1971.[1]
