**Steven Tingay** is a John Curtin Distinguished Professor at [Curtin University](/source/Curtin_University) and deputy executive director of the [International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research](/source/International_Centre_for_Radio_Astronomy_Research). He is a specialist in [radio astronomy](/source/Radio_astronomy) and [astrophysics](/source/Astrophysics).[1][2]
