'''Steve Maslow''' (October 17, 1944 – April 27, 2026) was an American [sound engineer](/source/audio_engineering). He won three [Academy Awards](/source/Academy_Awards) for [Best Sound](/source/Academy_Award_for_Best_Sound_Mixing) and was nominated for four more in the same category. Maslow also won the [AACTA Award for Best Sound](/source/AACTA_Award_for_Best_Sound) for ''[The Great Gatsby](/source/The_Great_Gatsby_(2013_film))'' in [2013](/source/3rd_AACTA_Awards). He worked on more than 200 films since 1978.
