Musical artist

**Steve Hindalong** (born November 29, 1959) is an American [drummer](/source/Drummer), percussionist, [songwriter](/source/Songwriter) and [producer](/source/Record_producer) best known for his work with the alternative [rock](/source/Rock_music) band [the Choir](/source/The_Choir_(alternative_rock_band)). Since 2006, he has also been an official member of the alternative country supergroup [Lost Dogs](/source/Lost_Dogs).

After becoming a prolific producer in the late 1990s, Hindalong received several Dove awards ([2001](/source/Dove_Awards_of_2001) and [2003](/source/Dove_Awards_of_2003), "Special Event Album of the Year") for his work on the *[City on a Hill](/source/City_on_a_Hill_(series))* project. He also co-wrote "[God of Wonders](/source/God_of_Wonders)" with [Marc Byrd](/source/Marc_Byrd), which was used by [NASA](/source/NASA) to wake up [Discovery](/source/Space_Shuttle_Discovery) astronaut [Michael Fossum](/source/Michael_Fossum).[1]
