He made his début for Wigan against [Featherstone Rovers](/source/Featherstone_Rovers) in the [1990–91 Rugby League Premiership](/source/1990%E2%80%9391_Rugby_League_Premiership) first-round match during the [1990–91 season](/source/1990%E2%80%9391_Rugby_Football_League_season) at [Central Park](/source/Central_Park_(Wigan)), [Wigan](/source/Wigan) on Sunday 21 April 1991, scoring his first try for Wigan in a 26–31 defeat.
