The **State Anthem of Ingushetia** is one of the national symbols of the [Republic of Ingushetia](/source/Republic_of_Ingushetia), a [federal subject of Russia](/source/Federal_subject_of_Russia), along with its [flag](/source/Flag_of_Ingushetia) and [coat of arms](/source/Coat_of_Arms_of_Ingushetia). The music was composed by Ruslan Zangiyev, with accompanying lyrics by [Ingush](/source/Ingush_language) poet [Ramzan Tsurov](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ramzan_Tsurov&action=edit&redlink=1) in 1993. It was first adopted as a *de facto* regional anthem on 27 August 1993, and then readopted officially on 7 December 2010.[1][2][3][4]

## Lyrics

In 1993, the [Ingush national congress](/source/Congress_of_the_Ingush_People_(1989%E2%80%931999)) wanted an anthem for the Republic of Ingushetia, at which the poems written by Ingush poet Ramzan Tsurov were accepted. Later that year, Ingush composer Ruslan Zangiyev put Tsurov's poems into music. Subsequently, the [Parliament of Ingushetia](/source/Parliament_of_Ingushetia) officially approved the State Anthem of Ingushetia.[4]

### Original version

In 2005, [Head](/source/Head_of_the_Republic_of_Ingushetia) [Murat Zyazikov](/source/Murat_Zyazikov) decided that the anthem of Ingushetia was too aggressive and did not reflect the "people's desire for peace, creation, good neighborly relations", so he approved a new version, titled "My Motherland" ([Russian](/source/Russian_language): Моя Родина) to the verses of the Ingush poet [Said Chakhkiev](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Said_Chakhkiev&action=edit&redlink=1). This version, used until 2010, was translated by Igor Lyapin.[7]
