"**Start Over Georgia**" is a song co-written and recorded by American [country music](/source/Country_music) artist [Collin Raye](/source/Collin_Raye). It was released in July 1999 as the fourth single from the album *[The Walls Came Down](/source/The_Walls_Came_Down)*. The song reached #39 on the *[Billboard](/source/Billboard_(magazine))* [Hot Country Singles & Tracks](/source/Hot_Country_Songs) chart.[1] The song was written by Raye and his brother, Scott Wray.
