# Stainach

**Stainach** (ˈʃtaɪnax) is a former municipality in the district of [Liezen](/source/Liezen_(district)) in the [Austrian](/source/Austria) state of [Styria](/source/Styria). Since the 2015 [Styria municipal structural reform](/source/Styria_municipal_structural_reform), it is part of the municipality [Stainach-Pürgg](/source/Stainach-P%C3%BCrgg).[1]

Stainach lies in the [Enns](/source/Enns_(river)) valley.
