"'''Stacking Chairs'''" is a song by Australian group [Middle Kids](/source/Middle_Kids) released on 5 March 2021 as the fourth single from the group's second studio album, ''[Today We're the Greatest](/source/Today_We're_the_Greatest)''.

In a statement, Hannah Joy said the song is a reflection on marriage to bandmate Tim Fitz, saying, "Going on the journey of marriage with Tim has been profound. It is very liberating having someone see you in your entirety and stay. Tim embodies that kind of 'stacking chairs' love – he's not just about the party. He's around afterward when I'm tired and ugly and loves me in those moments."<ref>{{cite web|url=https://musicfeeds.com.au/news/listen-to-middle-kids-new-single-stacking-chairs/ |title= Listen to Middle Kids' Powerful New Single "Stacking Chairs"|website=[Music Feeds](/source/Music_Feeds)|date=4 March 2021|access-date=21 November 2025}}</ref><ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.dominomusic.com/news/us/middle-kids-release-new-song-stacking-chairs-today-were-the-greatest-out-march-19|title=Middle Kids release new song "Stacking Chairs"; 'Today We're The Greatest' out March 19|website=Domino Music|date=4 March 2021|access-date=21 November 2025}}</ref>
