***Spring Handicap*** is a 1937 British [comedy film](/source/Comedy_film) directed by [Herbert Brenon](/source/Herbert_Brenon) and starring [Will Fyffe](/source/Will_Fyffe), [Maire O'Neill](/source/Maire_O'Neill) and [Billy Milton](/source/Billy_Milton).[2] The film was made by the [Associated British Picture Corporation](/source/Associated_British_Picture_Corporation) at their [Elstree Studios](/source/Elstree_Studios_(Shenley_Road)) and based on the play *The Last Coupon* by Ernest E. Bryan.

## Premise

A wife tries to prevent her husband, a [miner](/source/Miner), from gambling away the money he receives as an [inheritance](/source/Inheritance).
