**Spiderweb Software** is an independent [video game developer](/source/Video_game_developer) founded in 1994 by Jeff Vogel in [Seattle, Washington](/source/Seattle%2C_Washington). Its primary focus is on creating [demoware](/source/Demoware) games for the [Mac](/source/Mac_(computer)), [Microsoft Windows](/source/Microsoft_Windows), [Android](/source/Android_(operating_system)) and the [iPad](/source/IPad). The games emphasize storytelling and turn-based gameplay and use a retro style of graphics.[1]

The company previously provided distribution services and other support for other shareware developers, Chromite Software (Richard White),[16] Crystal Shard, and Dragon Lore. The games included:
