The **BP Parawing** is an American [paramotor](/source/Paramotor)/[powered parachute](/source/Powered_parachute) designed and produced by [Spartan Microlights](/source/Spartan_Microlights).[1][2]

## Design and development

The aircraft was designed to comply the US [FAR 103 Ultralight Vehicles](/source/FAR_103_Ultralight_Vehicles) rules. It features a [paraglider](/source/Paraglider)-style [high-wing](/source/High-wing), single-place or optionally two-place-in-[tandem](/source/Tandem) accommodation and a single 28 hp (21 kW) [Hirth F-33](/source/Hirth_F-33), 15 hp (11 kW) [Hirth F-36](/source/Hirth_F-36) or 14 hp (10 kW) [Radne Raket 120](/source/Radne_Raket_120) engine in [pusher configuration](/source/Pusher_configuration). As is the case with all paramotors, take-off and landing is accomplished by foot, although this aircraft can also fit optional wheels.[1][2]
